GGAM would like to honor and celebrate the work that two of our students have put into earning their recent fellowships.
It was announced recently that Kelli Loritsch has been awarded NSF's Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP), which recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students who are pursuing full-time research-based master's and doctoral degrees in STEM or in STEM education. The GRFP provides three years of support over a five-year fellowship period for the graduate education of individuals who have demonstrated their potential for significant research achievements in STEM or STEM education. Congratulations, Kelli!
Also recently announced was The Department of Energy Computational Sciences Graduate Fellowship (DOE CSGF) for Jennifer Paige. This exciting fellowship is 4 years of funding with a breadth course requirement, meant to emphasize the role of high performance computing, a funded 12 week practicum through a DOE facility, and an annual program review/conference. Well done, Jennifer!
